28 August: Welcome to Queenstown
On arrival at Queenstown Airport you’ll be met and transferred by private car to your hotel. This evening meet your Travel Director and fellow travellers for a welcome reception and dinner. Hotel: Millennium Hotel, Queenstown, 6 nights. D
29 August: Queenstown
Start the day with a sightseeing tour of Queenstown and surrounds. Explore Arrowtown, an old gold-mining village of the 1860s, located on what was once the world’s richest river. See the Kawarau Bridge, home of the Bungy Jump. Get an adrenalin rush as you experience the Shotover Jet, the most thrilling jet boat ride in the world! Enjoy wine tasting and a relaxing lunch at Gibbston Valley Winery Restaurant and then it’s free time in downtown Queenstown. Tonight, ride the gondola to the top of Bob’s Peak for dinner at the Skyline Restaurant with its stunning views over Queenstown. B L D
30 August: Queenstown Ski
Queenstown is home to four ski areas and an exuberant après ski culture. This alpine resort town is a snow-lover’s paradise. All ski fields cater for beginners, advanced skiers, snowboarders and families, with one of the longest seasons
in the southern hemisphere. The ski fields offer unrivalled alpine scenery and fantastically varied open and treeless terrain and each has its own unique character. You can choose one of these exciting ski fields for today’s adventure. B
31 August: Golf or Spa Included Choice
After an action-packed day on the slopes, today is about relaxation. Choose from a massage at a spa or a game of golf. Queenstown is home to some of the most spectacular golf courses in New Zealand. Six golf courses, all within 25 minutes’ drive, will appeal to every level of golfer, whether you’re a serious golfer or just starting out. Choose from the lush immaculately groomed greens of a resort course or a simple fairway with rugged mountain peaks as your backdrop. If golfing is not your thing, then why not enjoy a relaxing spa? You’ll be pampered at one of Queenstown’s luxurious day spas. Sink into a therapeutic hot pool or treat yourself to a selection of therapies at a local salon. Choose from a selection of pamper & spa options and then kick back, and soak up the atmosphere. B
01 September: Milford or Doubtful Sound
Today is all about exploring. If you’ve already experienced the beauty of Milford Sound, known as the eighth wonder of the natural world, then maybe you’d like to experience another fiord, Doubtful Sound. The choice is yours – simply see you’re Travel Director who will make all
the arrangements for you. Either destination is amazing to experience, from the highest peaks to snow falls, waterfalls and wildlife. B
02 September: Queenstown ‘Free Time’
Now it’s time to relax and enjoy Queenstown at a leisurely pace. Shop, take a stroll, join in a local activity or perhaps another day’s skiing or golf. Ask your Travel Director for details. Tonight enjoy a special farewell dinner at the Bathhouse, an iconic restaurant and historical landmark situated on the shores of Lake Wakatipu. B FD
03 September: Farewell from Queenstown
Your holiday concludes this morning after breakfast. You’ll be transferred by private car to Queenstown Airport for your onward flight. B
